We’ll be showcasing tools for handling and marking microscopic samples:
MicroSupport Micromanipulators
MicroSupport micromanipulators provide controlled handling of microscopic particles and defects under magnification. The Axis Pro benchtop system combines a zoom microscope, a motorized XYZ stage, and two motorized manipulation arms, controlled through a PC interface with simple mouse control. Interchangeable tools, including probes, knives, scrapers, and liquid deposition and pickup accessories, support particle isolation and defect analysis. Configurations are also available for large samples, including large wafers.
MicroSupport D-MARK Sample Marking System
D-MARK is a marking system for tabletop analytical samples. Marking is performed with a diamond-tipped probe, so sample damage is smaller than with a laser marker, and automatic marking is confirmed through the objective lens. Mark shapes include dots, vertical and horizontal lines, cross lines, rectangles, and diamonds, and a number can be scribed beside the mark. The system also provides image acquisition, scale display, and a survey function. Marks make it easier to relocate a region of interest when a sample moves between instruments.
