About Luceo

Luceo has optimally utilized the concept of controlling linear polarized light through its optical innovation – polarizing plates. The company’s film manufacturing technologies permit the production of polarizers in-house and can be customized to suit specific application requirements. We offer Luceo’s dichroic polarizing films that are afixed within premium-quality optical glass plates available in a wide variety of light ranges from visible light to infrared.

POLAX Series Polarizing Plates

Some of the standard polarizers available from Luceo include:
  • POLAX – 30IR: This is for infrared range between 900nm and 1600nm, and has uniform spectral characteristic.
  • POLAX – 32NIR: This is developed for 780nm ~ 830nm in near infrared range.
  • POLAX – 42S: This offers an average transmittance of 42% ± 3% at 530nm. It has a high extinction ratio in the visible light range.
  • POLAX – 38S: This has a high extinction ratio as well as transmittance and is developed for the visible light range.
  • POLAX – 38N: This is an excellent color reproduction polarizer that transmits light uniformly only in the visible light range.
  • POLAX – 32N: This offers an average polarizing performance which has the best balance with the transmission of single polarizer and extinction ratio in visible light range.
  • POLAX – 25N: This is a high-performance polarizer suitable only for the visible light range.
  • POLAX – 15N: This has the highest extinction ratio in the POLAX series and helps with leak prevention of blue light in visible light.

Applications of Linear Polarizers

Some applications of Luceo’s POLAX polarizers.
  • Scientific research: They are used in research pertaining to microscopy, spectroscopy, and optical instruments.
  • Optical devices: Polarizers find use in spectrophotometers, polarimeters, and other optical devices to improve measurement accuracy.
  • Security in financial and banking systems: Polarization techniques are used in banks and financial institutions to prevent counterfeit currency notes and documents.
  • Communication devices: They are used in fiber optic networks and communication systems for effective data transmission over fiber optic cables as well as detecting polarization-sensitive components, and multiplexing.

Advantages of Using Linear Polarizers

Here are some benefits of using linear polarizers:
  • Optical technology with applications in crucial fields such as manufacturing, medical, information,
  • Our Luceo polarizers contribute highly in accurate optical measurements required in these sectors.
  • We offer dichroic polarizers which have specially designed optical filters that use anisotropic absorption to polarize electromagnetic waves. They transmit only light at the required polarization states.
