Hot Cell™ Sensors for Flat Batteries
Testing Cp of medium-size pouch cells
These three Hot Cell™ sensors are primarily intended for testing flat batteries, with focus on medium-size pouch batteries. The cells are made of aluminium and have the shape of a flat square box with rounded edges. The three cell sizes have a width and height of 80 mm and 12 mm; 160 mm and 16 mm; and 240 mm and 20 mm, respectively. Due to the rounded edges of the cells, the maximum pouch battery size will depend on if the pouch battery is square-shaped or rectangular-shaped.
The Hot Cell™ sensors come with high-temperature foam insulation and two cable options – a standard grey-colored polymer-clad cable for use between -20°C to 50°C, or a red-colored silicone-clad cable for use between -60°C to 180°C. For the latter option, grey-colored adaptor cable is needed for connection to Hot Disk® instruments (or sensor switch units) and is offered separately.
