Axis Pro
The Axis Pro is a benchtop micromanipulator with a zoom microscope, motorized stage, and two motorized arms. All motions of the motorized components are controlled by mouse through an intuitive software interface. The arms can hold a number of different tools including probes, knives, scrapers, vacuum absorption tools (to pick up grains), and many others.
The system has a wide range of applications including particle isolation for failure analysis, ex situ lift-out, Diamond Anvil Cell (DAC) loading, and other areas where precise microsampling is important. The hardware configuration also allows the micromanipulator to operative inside a glovebox with the user controlling the system from outside the glovebox.
