GROVE, CA – September 24, 2010 – Steve Barnett of Barnett Technical
Services is serving as an Entrepreneur-in-Readiness (EIR) in the
Medical Technology
Commercialization Clinic (MTCC) at the University of California,
Davis.
The MTCC was made possible by a National Science Foundation’s
Partnerships for
Innovation award awarded to the university. EIRs lead teams composed of
business
school students, law school students, clinicians, scientists,
engineers, and
other researchers to promote the development of medical technologies at
UC
Davis. Dr. Barnett has started forming his first team
for a
technology related to improved tissue examination in a surgical
setting.
